Service Pros

How Does it Work?

The whole process is very simple (similar to ride-sharing):

  1. Set up your SnapShyft Profile (Takes 5 minutes)
  2. Account Activation (Typically within 72 hours)
  3. Work a shift (Anywhere, anytime)
  4. Get Paid (Within 24 hours)

Set up your SnapShyft profile and once you’re activated you are able to make yourself “Available” at anytime. This let’s us know that you want to be notified when a nearby establishment is in need of help. If you match the position needs of any establishment, SnapShyft will notify you through push notification when a nearby shift becomes available. Once you accept a shift you are matched with, the establishment will be notified of your intent to fill in.

Fast forward a few moments to when you arrive at the establishment. You simply open the app and clock-in to begin working. Introduce yourself to the manager on duty, get a rundown of the details (such as menu, table map, specials, kitchen station(s), POS location(s), etc) and get to work! Once the shift is completed you clock-out through the app, collect any earned tips, rate the experience and go about your day/night.

SnapShyft will process each shift (hours and rat) and deposit your compensation direct to your bank account within 24 hours.

Do I keep my tips?

Absolutely 100%! You earned them!

How do I get paid?

You will be compensated for your hourly rate via Direct Deposit ACH to the bank account you associate with your profile. Typically you will see a deposit within 24 hours of you completing your shift.

What does using SnapShyft cost me?

Nothing… not a single penny. We love you too!

What if I don’t know the menu?

What matters is your smile and great customer service!

What if I don't have a uniform?

When you are presented a shift you will be able to quickly review the dress code and decide if you can meet the establishment’s requirements prior to committing to the shift.

What if I have never worked in this type of establishment?

Your attitude and professionalism are what matter most. Bring your A game! The establishment needs your help so you will be welcomed with open arms!

What if I don’t have a car?

No worries! You will see the establishment location so you can decide if you can bike or walk there.

*What if I get there and they don’t need me any more?

Another chance to have no worries! Once a match is made if the establishment changes their mind, you will be compensated for your time spent.

What if they cut me loose early?

This too is a no worries situation! Once you’re on site and clocked in you get paid a minimum of 4 hours, so being cut early is a non-issue.

Will I get the worst section because I am new?

You were matched because an establishment desperately needed your help. Most likely they are slammed! Jump right in and be a team player and they will look at you as the hero!

Do I clock in or clock out?

Yes! You will clock in and out directly through the app! Simple and painless.

How do you handle tips?

Easy! Establishments tip you out at the end of your worked shift, including all CC tips.

Do I have to tip out the rest of the staff?

This is a personal call, however we encourage you to take care of those that contribute! (Karma)

How far in advance will I be notified of an open shift?

Good question. At this time we are focused on the same day / immediate needs. We are actively evaluating advanced scheduling options based on customer feedback.

When are you coming to my city?

We are launching in Indianapolis, IN the spring of 2017.  You can pre-register in the app now to be alerted once it’s time to put SnapShyft to work!

Establishments

How does it work?

The whole process is very simple (similar to ride-sharing):

  1. Set up your SnapShyft Profile (Takes 2 minutes)
  2. Account Activation (Typically same day)
  3. Set your position needs and other pertinent details (Such as POS)
  4. Find yourself short-staffed for any reason, simply indicate the position you need filled
  5. Get matched and have a service professional on-site (can be in minutes)

Set up your SnapShyft establishment profile and once you’re activated you are able to “Request a service professional” at anytime through the app. If you find yourself short-staffed, simply make a request and SnapShyft gets to work. Once the system locates a service pro that matches your needs, you will be notified through a push notification. You will know when the service professional is en route (ETA) and who they are (Name & picture).

Fast forward a few moments to when the service pro arrives at your establishment. The service pro will clock-in through the app itself and attempt to locate the requesting manager. Go introduce yourself and give a rundown of the details (such as menu, table map, specials, kitchen station(s), POS location(s), etc) and let the pro get to work! Once the shift is completed the service pro will clock-out through the app, collect any earned tips, and go about their day/night. You will have an opportunity to rate your experience.

SnapShyft will process each shift (hours and rate) and charge the CC on file. You will have access to all account/shift activity directly through the app.

How do I know you will match me with good people?

SnapShyft matches your specific needs to the core competencies of the service professionals. Our cloud based platform correlates a number of inputs, including feedback from venues like yours, in order to produce the best available match.  

How do I pay for SnapShyft?

Establishments enter into a monthly subscription. This gets you access to thousands of vetted professionals at anytime. There is a nominal transaction cost associated with each shift worked.

Do you do background checks?

Absolutely! We check references and conduct thorough background checks.

What if they don’t know my menu?

Customer service rules the day… Customer engagement is priority 1.

They won’t have our uniform will they?

You can specify basic color combinations (Bottoms, Tops, Shoes). If you need something specific to your brand…  Toss them a shirt when they arrive!

Will they know my POS?

Generally speaking yes. SnapShyft matches POS experience as part of the process. You will have the ability to skip this particular requirement during times of peak demand.

But we take weeks to train new staff...

We understand. When push comes to shove you need an experienced vetted professional that will bring their A game. As always customer service rules the day!

How will they know my seating chart?

As a rule of thumb it is good idea to provide a chart to the professionals that may need them (Host, Server, Busser). Show them what they are responsible for and let them get to work!

They won’t know my signature drinks?

Customer service trumps all. If you have mixology needs you can specify that in your shift request. We will find them for you!  

Why haven’t I used SnapShyft sooner?

Will they know my recipes?

We will match you with experienced vetted professional that match your criteria and they will bring their A game. Capable BOH pros can handle most things thrown at them.

How will they know my operation?

These are experienced vetted professional that match your criteria. Show them what needs to be done and let them get to work!

Will I be able to give feedback?

Yes! We are counting it. Immediately after a shift transaction is completed you will be prompted to rate your experience.

What happens if something goes wrong?

Let us know immediately! We will work with you to find a proper solution.

Do you check references?

Yes.

What if they don’t show up?

SnapShyfters value their reputation. As a service professionals they agree to honor the SnapShyft code of conduct. We will move swiftly to address any situations as they arise.

How does the service professional get paid?

Easy! At the completion of a shift simply cash out their CC tips.  The hourly rate is charged to the CC on file through a secure third party payment provider. They receive their money within 24 hours.

How far in advance do I need to request someone?
